Arci Caccia Alessandria: considerations on the choices of the Territorial Areas of Hunting, “what happens in the ATC?”.
With the approach of the hunting season, the ATCs of the province of Alessandria have taken decisions that must be brought to the attention of the hunting world. Situations that cause discontent and disappointment, to the point that several hunters reluctantly hang up their rifles. Management changes and new rules are also needed because the success of the reproduction of sedentary fauna inevitably depends on a correct management of resources and of the territory. There are aspects, behaviors and facts that we could define simply as incomprehensible; it is not correct to admit forane who have submitted an application in the ATC, appealing to the indications and provisions of the Piedmont Region aimed not at a responsible management of the territory, but only at thinking of making cash, without considering the quantity of fauna present. In our province, the ATC that has tried to best combine admissions and additional launches of hares and pheasants in their respective farms, combining voluntary initiatives to support the success of the operation, is ATC AL 3.
It is necessary not to give up, being proud of being hunters means being recognized as useful to society.
