Arci Caccia Islands of the Gulf of Naples at the forefront of fire prevention; the environmental surveillance plan starts tomorrow. A round h.24 is expected.
Hunters at the forefront to promote respect for the environment. And it is not a paradox, far from it. Because it is certainly not the first time that the ARCI Caccia Isole del Golfo di Napoli Association has taken steps to maturely emphasize guidelines aimed at ecology, fighting tenaciously against poaching and, for example, acknowledging the appeal of the Prime Minister Municipal of Ischia, Gianluca Trani, for the cleaning and arrangement of the Pineta degli Atleti, the pride of the island of Ischia. This time the associates will commit themselves to the prevention of forest fires, a very delicate issue during the long Ischian summer. Yes, because tomorrow the Environmental Supervision and Forest Fire Prevention plan launched by the Presidency of the ARCI Caccia Isole del Golfo di Napoli and by the territorial sections starts, with the active collaboration of the Provincial Hunting Security Guards posted on the Island of Ischia and a group of volunteers / members who have given full availability to the implementation of the plan. As in previous years, the plan provides for surveillance shifts and round-the-clock patrols both on the island of Ischia and on the islands of Capri and Procida with constant monitoring of the territory to ensure presence on the territory, discourage those who have no respect for the environment and nature and is responsible for environmental disasters.
"Despite the many difficulties, once again this year we will be present and we will give our free contribution to the fight against forest fires - declared Emilio Galano, President and Head of the Hunting Security Guards of the ARCI Caccia Isole del Golfo di Napoli - we will denounce together with the Corps State Foresters, Carabinieri, Police, Agricultural and Environmental Associations, Arsonists who are arsonists responsible for this environmental crime which provides for the arrest in the act of crime and a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and as always we are ready to be a civil party in the proceedings against these crimes for the protection of the environment and the people who live there ".
