Shortly before the start ofIWA Outdoor Classics of Nuremberg, Baschieri & Pellagri had launched a contest to find out what would be the cartridge that the Emilian company would have reproduced in 2018, taking a cue from historical and glorious products. The vote rewarded the new version of the historical F2 SuperFlash, cartridge that enriches the very wide range of the group from Marano di Castenaso (Bologna). The product loads the famous F2 powder, invented in 1962 with the cardboard case, lacquered and silk-screened, in addition to the star closure and the plastic wad.
The powder we are talking about loads every model in the range. The medium and high ones in terms of lead allow a varied choice for different hunting situations. The sedentary and the valley hunting, but also the migratory one are perfect in this case. The F2 Super Flash was born at the very end of 1962, when the pigeon shooting, a sport that was very fashionable and practiced at that time.
The hunting version was introduced not long after, relying on nickel-plated lead. The new cartridge from Baschieri & Pellagri is available in two calibers, 12 (36 grams of nickel-plated lead to be precise) and 20. The limited edition is loaded to express the highest speeds, without forgetting that it is particularly suitable for passionate pheasant and hare hunters.
