La Metropolitan City of Bologna issued an official note to disclose the numbers relating to theopening of hunting in the most populous province of Emilia. The beginning was not the best, with the registration of the presence of 700 hunters: the number is down compared to what was recorded a year ago (850 admissions) and in 2014 (even 1000), with checks on 315 people.
The Metropolitan City employed 25 Provincial Police officers and officers who in turn coordinated 59 volunteer hunting guards. After pointing out that there were no accidents with a firearm, the Metropolitan City of Bologna highlighted an undoubtedly interesting fact.
In fact, the average age of Bolognese hunters has significantly increased, a factor that has gone hand in hand with the constant decline over the years: in the XNUMXs there were many more than there are today, well 6mila to be precise. However, the reduction was offset by the arrival of hunters from other regions and provinces, thanks above all to the very careful and selective wildlife management. A lot of game can be found in the Bolognese area, always monitored and manned.
