Hon. Maria Cristina Caretta with a delegation of managers of the Italian Hunters Association he met the Veneto regional councilor for hunting dr. Cristiano Corazzari to talk about some issues of particular urgency and relevance for the hunting world.
In particular, the managers were able to investigate the problems of the appeal to the TAR of the regional hunting calendar, the prohibition of sampling in the two supplementary days of Cesena and Redwing, species not considered in a bad state of conservation by ISPRA and IUCN. - International Union for Conservation of Nature, and the problem on the use of live calls belonging to the Anseriform and Charadriform orders whose resolution is practically inapplicable in the territory.
Following the institutional activity within the Parliament, the Hon. Caretta also highlighted the need for the Veneto Region to equip itself with a Regional Institute for Wild Fauna to support the regional administration, recalling that it had already presented a bill to the Chamber and stressing that hunting must be protected with scientific and not ideological data. .
Thanks to the Councilor's availability, an interlocutory channel has been opened on all this that the Managers of Italian Hunters hope will be an opportunity for the hunting sector.
