Adopt a fallow deer you can and the ungulates are those of the Circeo National Park. The institution, to cope with the overcrowding of the specimens increased in the last five years, after the protest of citizens who asked for answers to the phenomenon by implementing non-violent practices for animals, found a sort of trick, publishing three calls on the official website to adopt them. On the Fallow deer control management plan for the Circeo National Park, however, the knot of non-cruel measures for the containment of specimens still remains to be resolved, which initially they envisaged its killingpractices that would in fact only be delegated to someone else.
Animal welfare associations, including Oipa, which has put in the spotlight how the Circeo National Park does not keep its commitments and decides to assign the fallow deer that it will capture in the State forest. Oipa launches an appeal so that as a Biosphere protected by Unesco since 1977, the Authority takes care of its fauna, canceling two of the three calls and leaving only the one open to private individuals who will respect their life (Fanpage).
