Il Italian Armourers Consortium (CONARMI) is organizing for the days of 15 and 16 September 2018 a new edition of the course that allows you to deepen the maintenance of the hunting and shooting rifles. In 2017 this was an absolute novelty as far as it concerns the lessons prepared by the Consortium and was proposed for the first time in collaboration with an expert gunsmith who followed the members step by step. This workshop-laboratory examines every aspect of the rifles, starting from the evaluation of their efficiency and the necessary interventions on woods, rods and mechanical parts.
In this way it is possible use the weapon in the best possible way and in total safety, minimizing risks and taking care of aesthetics and functionality. The venue of the course will be that of CONARMI, namely Gardone Val Trompia (province of Brescia), at Via Monte Guglielmo 128 / A. Lessons will take place from 8:30 to 12:30 and from 14 to 18. A number of participants between 12 and 16 will be accepted. The techniques to show off are the professional ones and used every day by experts.
There will be five teachers, namely Bruno Barucco (rifle manufacturer and repairer), Katy Gipponi (knurling machine), Amedeo Palini (cashier), Renato Telò (rifle manufacturer and repairer) and Renzo Vivenzi (repairer specialized in assembly and calibration). Topics such as control of the rods, ordinary and extraordinary cleaning, the elimination of rust, the use of the chisel for the installation of the iron parts and repairs to the butt and forend, scratches and chips.
