Difficult days those we are going through for the restrictive and health consequences of a pandemic which has been affecting our life and daily life for a year now. Despite everything, the commitment to the main problems relating to our passion continues. In recent days, the commissioner Stephanie Saccardi, strongly reiterated, among the many open questions, the need to speed up the revision process of the Implementing Regulation to Regional Law on Hunting n.48 / R of 05/07/2017.
A decision that we share and that, in truth, we have urged on several occasions even in recent weeks. This passage is not to be understood by hunters as one of the many administrative bureaucratic processes, which concern the legislation. On the contrary, it is instead a question of improving and updating, a fundamental tool that determines specifically, also detailed aspects concerning practical hunting and more generally wildlife management and ATCs. The financial management of ATCs, the rules on hunting by selection and hunting for ungulates, the management of the public wildlife institutes, the hunting and hunting farms, the fixed stalking and the management of live calls, are just some of the aspects that must be carefully addressed.
Beyond that, there are also other pressing issues on the table. The new Prime Ministerial Decree approved by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers re-proposes the need to update and reiterate the current Ordinance n.117 of 05 December 2020 issued by the President of the Regional Council Eugenio Giani in order to give continuity to important choices and legal certainty, on some qualifying points concerning our business. In particular, we refer to activities to be carried out in the classification of "Orange zone" relating to control interventions within the ATC, for the training and training of dogs and selection hunting. Last but not least, we believe it is necessary to identify all the solutions to overcome the "vulnus" introduced by Constitutional Court ruling no.21 of January 14, 2021 as regards the qualifications on wildlife control in art. 37 for those registered in the regional registers for hunted hunting. An aspect of common interest also with the agricultural world which will have to be resolved with urgent preferential ways, also given the approaching seasonal period of maximum exposure to damage for various quality agricultural productions.
