Mr Barbara Mazzali, regional councilor of Lombardy (Brothers of Italy), shed light on when it happened in the latest votes: “What happened in the Regional Council is very serious and once again the hunters were shot. I had this proposal inserted in the text of the Ordinance Law: 'Every hunter, regularly registered with the ATC or CAC, can host after the first month of hunting and for a maximum of ten hunting days, another hunter who has chosen the same form of roaming hunting, even if he resides in another region.
To the guest, residing in another region, it is released a daily authorization costing € 50,00 prepared by the territorial context or by the alpine hunting area on the basis of procedures determined in agreement with the Region and the province of Sondrio for the relative territory, while the resident resident in Lombardy region an authorization is issued free of charge; in the case of sedentary game being taken by the host, the marking on the hunting card is the responsibility of the host member '.
The proposal had been approved in the Commission, with the positive opinion of the commissioner Rolfi, but in the Council all the amendment was removed from the Ghiroldi rapporteur. My modification provided for the possibility of giving Lombard hunters the mobility in full freedom, while now it returns the discretion of the relevant ATC. Especially the hunters from Brescia and Bergamo, who live in a very anthropized area and that are damaged by the lack of mobility.
Even the younger generation will suffer from limitations and will have a hard time choose the type of hunting they prefer. I wanted to give the same opportunities to all 60 Lombard hunters, without territorial distinctions, as happens in Emilia Romagna, in Veneto and in many other regions. I will take care to re-propose my proposal also because, I repeat it, even the councilor agreed ".
