The “Primitivo Wine and Black Chickpea Festival” will take place on Saturday 23 November 2013 in Acquaviva delle Fonti, in the province of Bari.
On Saturday 23 November the “FESTIVAL OF PRIMITIVE WINE AND BLACK CHICKPEAS” kicks off, organized by the tourist association Pro Loco “Curtomartino” with the patronage of the Municipality of Acquaviva delle Fonti. Food and wine and lots of fun under the sign of the ancient Apulian tradition. Now in its thirteenth edition, the “Primitivo Wine and Black Chickpea Festival” is now a regular appointment for the city of Acquaviva delle Fonti. The event will wind through the streets of the ancient village, where there will be food and wine stands that will offer visitors ancient recipes prepared with the tasty black chickpea and accompanied by the delicious primitive wine from our cellars. The evening will be enriched by the tasting of primitive wines carried out in collaboration with the National Organization of Wine Tasters which will have the task, through its delegation of experts, to carry out the qualities of each one.
The path will be animated by the musical group of Flow, by a medieval show organized by the “Ordo Equestris Acquavivae” association, by street artists and other surprises. Therefore the festival is not only an occasion for celebration, but also a moment of reflection and common living, in order to implement the potential of the present through a secure civil, cultural and economic process.
