With a recent provision, after the reconstitution of the boar hunting sector, the board of Federcaccia Umbra has formalized the area of interest and reference of the hunters who exercise this form of hunting activity. The Federcaccia wild boar sector is made up of a representation on a provincial basis where all the territories are represented with their sensitivities and peculiarities.
Two provincial representatives with proven experience - one for Perugia, Gianluca Coata, and one for Terni, Bernardino Breccia - with Massimo Tiracorrendo as regional reference figure, former member of the Federcaccia Umbra board of directors, they were called to lead the sectoral Federcaccia association. The task of the sector will be to elaborate proposals, collect any useful information, following the guidelines of Federcaccia.
Just think of the containment of wild boar populations with the problems connected and linked to compensation for damages, the regulation for wild boar hunting, being integrated and modified, as well as resuming the discussion on the treatment and use of wild boar meat in a serious way, without risks and with precise certainties, in order to also produce benefits for the hunting and agricultural world. All this constitutes a first step, a beginning that must represent how we can, and must, build a shared proposal and therefore adequate with respect to the requests of the numerous hunters of the wild boar species, a proposal that is sustainable with other forms of hunting and hunting. use of the territories.
The regional president Federcaccia Franco Di Marco, on the day of the establishment in Perugia of the representatives of the wild boar sector, reaffirmed the fundamental importance of a widespread "hearing" activity, listening that comes directly from the territories and which will have to materialize with a proposal that Federcaccia Umbra will then be called to elaborate and carry on. The sectoral representatives appointed, right from the start, have assumed the commitment to promote meetings, encounters with the hunters and with anyone who has an interest in the management of this species, on issues and guidelines assigned by Federcaccia.
"The Federcaccia wild boar sector association - reiterates the newly appointed regional referent Tiracorrendo - intends to act on the issues of improving the safety of this hunting discipline, contributing to specific training on this topic which too often sees serious accidents renewed". Federcaccia Umbra hopes for the full involvement of all the components bearing objective interests of our territories on the aforementioned issues, renewing total availability for any constructive confrontation, free from associative and / or sectorial interests.
