Even distancing oneself from attitudes deniers or exclusively self-referential, there is no doubt that it is difficult to understand the meaning of the prescriptions that affect the hunting world, especially in the light of a very different yardstick for other activities related to the sphere of free time practiced in the orange and red areas. We remember once again that hunting is practiced in wide open spaces, far from inhabited and man-made areas, most of the time in single form or with a number of people that can be maintained, precisely because it is outdoors, an interpersonal distance far greater than that recommended by all protocols.
An activity in contact with nature, which also allows to maintain in those who practice it that psycho-physical balance so important in these moments of tension and emotional pressure caused by the deprivation of many other habits. A widespread malaise which the Government itself rightly worries about for all citizens. Or rather, for almost everyone. It is therefore not acceptable that the government response to the request for clarification, requested by us and by others, regarding the doubts raised by the last Dpcm on the subject of hunting and travel is limited to a laconic "is permitted" or "is forbidden". We believe it is our right as citizens - and we asked for it in a letter sent to the Prime Minister, the competent Ministers and the President of the State Regions Conference - to know if the answer given is the result of technical-scientific reasons, which we would like to know then.
If, on the other hand, it arises from the fact that, having taken on many different and all important tasks, the Government did not have the time to investigate the matter, we feel it is our duty to be heard. Or, finally, if it is the daughter of a preconception towards hunting, it is doubly unacceptable and we will remember this. Already at the end of October and again in the aftermath of the enactment of the Prime Minister's Decree of November 3, Federcaccia had asked for a comparison with the institutions. On this point it does not intend to withdraw and has again renewed the request for a meeting with a representative of the Government and of the Ministries concerned, to whom we can expose not only our observations and reflections, but also bring a proposal of common sense that would solve any difficulty linked to the current Dpcm. Contacts and discussions with the parliamentary world continue, even more dense and constant than usual in recent months, so that the attention of the Chamber and the Senate on this delicate issue is kept high. Similarly, since 4 November we continue to urge a position to be taken in the State-Regions Conference, which has the task of adopting the Decrees on the territories and which knowing them can do so in a way that responds to the needs and requirements of citizens and productive activities.
Better than the Government, the Regions know the absolutely irreplaceable role of hunters in the management of fauna, in particular for the containment and prevention of damage to agriculture and roads caused by problematic species, and that of the only defense against zoonoses such as swine fever, capable of causing irreparable damage to our economy. A "social" task to which hunters have always lent themselves with a great spirit of collaboration and civic sense, but which - it should be clearly clarified - cannot be expected in a general framework that sees instead the category absolutely not taken into consideration in its basic requests. Nothing in our possibilities will be left unturned to give the hunt the recognition and attention it deserves, asking for nothing impossible, but strongly rejecting the evidently punitive approach with which the hunting theme was addressed also on this occasion at least by a well-known part of the government.
Hi, this year something has happened that NEVER since the world existed has happened (blocking the hunt) with the excuse of the hideouts 19 Calabrian hunters are tired of what happened, even more so with those who came to Calabria to ask for votes that after having voted for them, they repaid it like this, but (they say) that NOBODY, of any party color must never ask for votes, because we feel betrayed, they had no Respect neither for the hunters, nor for the damage they have created to the economy of the sector, I would like to continue writing more ... but it is not worth it since we have been condemned so deeply. thanks best regards !
