As pointed out by the Provincial Federcaccia of Bergamo, the hunting associations must commit themselves to train hunters properly, offering in-depth and complete opportunities, not only for the achievement of the various qualifications. FIDC Bergamo also recalled how strategic the growth of the "baggage" of knowledge of those who have been practicing the activity for years but who are perhaps the son of early training courses. Laws, regulations, environmental and wildlife management, safety, ethics, meat treatment, health profiles, recovery of injured dogs, ballistics and so on are essential topics.
Very interesting is this passage from the association's note: "Hunting is said to be tradition, but tradition does not mean backwardness: modern hunting is tradition, but at the same time it cannot ignore a deep technical and scientific preparation of those who approach it.". The Course for the formation of Team Leader for the Collective Wild Boar Hunt, the training course for census and selective sampling which today sees 67 hunters from Bergamo participate, the course being organized for collective wild boar hunting (which already has 50 pre-registrations), all organized according to the guidelines indicated by ISPRA and held by highly qualified personnel as requested by the Lombardy Region are above all a moment of great scientific and cultural study for hunters.
The training courses currently active, and which are added to the course for the hunting in the alps area, in addition to the traditional hunting qualification course, they will soon be accompanied by further moments of study for the conduct of hunting dogs and for any other activity that will be deemed useful or necessary for the better training and growth of hunters.
