Federcaccia: Salerno, the beltlai team “La Squadraccia” from Salento, in the province of Salerno, and the local FIdC section celebrate the hunting year.
The splendid setting of the Cilento countryside was the backdrop to the event organized by “La Squadraccia” of Salento (SA) which was attended by the members of the FidC Section of Salento and the sympathizers of the local hunting world. The meeting, held at the hunting lodge to celebrate the 2012-13 hunting year, was a moment of verification and evaluation of the events of the past hunting season in which all the participants of the now famous team of beltlai of Salerno. The hunting leader, Gabriele De Marco, praised the whole group for the fairness and sportsmanship they demonstrated during the hunting period but first of all he highlighted the importance that his team has given to respecting the fundamental rules on safety in the hunting area. He then focused on the group of canai (Giuseppe De Marco, Gianfranco Pinto and Giuseppe De Feo) who with their commitment and their self-denial make possible this type of hunting that involves many enthusiasts and many dogs, bred, cared for and trained throughout. the arc of the year. Finally, he addressed a particular note to the numerous new followers, young and old, who have recently approached hunting and who are showing passion and enthusiasm for the ars venandi.
The President of the FidC municipal section of Salento, Giuseppe De Marco, in his speech, then recalled, in great detail, some of the most significant "hunts", leaving to the audience the jokes and teasing that always characterize this type of convivial.
Present at the meeting, Luigi Spera, provincial president of the Italian Federation of Hunting: "The past hunting season has been an authentic ordeal for our whole world - underlined Spera - but we must not be discouraged and the constant presence at the events of many young people and supporters is the clear sign that our passion has a lively present but above all a great future, provided that all the components that make up the hunting world understand the importance of their unity and recognize the weight of those scientific paths that can finally give recognition, in addition to the legislative one, for a correct hunting activity ".
At the end of the event, thanks to Angelo Scarpa, those present were able to admire the evolution of a hawk and the hypnotic beauty of an eagle owl. We then parted with the promise to meet again next year and the hope of being more and more numerous.
