FederFauna urges the government and politics to do their part to counter ecoterrorism in all its forms.
After the arson attacks and the damage against slaughterhouses and companies in the food supply chain at the end of 2012 in Tuscany, to rekindle the spotlight on the criminal conduct attributable to animal rights ideology is the release of over a thousand mink from a farm between Cremasco and Lodigiano, occurred on the night between 15 and 16.
This time there were no high flames or destroyed structures and vehicles: only a small farm recently opened, in a country where companies close, do not open, by a 20-year-old boy, MG, who contracted debts to open that one. 'activity' and who works hard to conduct it. One of the many that is actively contributing to the growth and recovery that all politicians are talking about now. One of the many who from now on will go to bed in the evening and get up in the morning with the fear, whatever happens, of finding himself destroyed all that he is building.
MG enjoyed the solidarity of the neighbors and other breeders who helped him to save almost all the animals (only about fifty missing ones, of which about thirty are already dead), he was able to appreciate the competence and effectiveness of the Police forces, read on the internet the joy of some animal rights activists for the damage they have suffered and the anger of other animal rights activists who hoped for greater damage, he perceived total indifference only from politics: from those politicians who would expect, at least in words, to represent him too. From all those politicians who now cry out to the need to create jobs, but who seem to do nothing to preserve the work that already exists!
FederFauna renews its appeal to the Parliament and the Government that will come, to do their part in safeguarding the economic and recreational activities connected to animals, which are a resource for the country, because they have always produced well-being, jobs, small and large businesses and socially useful structures, and also represent a concrete guarantee of conservation for animals.
