From this season the ACMA and Federcaccia Faunal and Agro-Environmental Studies and Researches begin the collection of the pochard's wings all over Italy. The aim is to know the age (number of juveniles) and sex ratios present in the sample of birds killed by hunters.
We primarily target specialist hunters from anatidae, who shoot down pochards in their fixed or temporary stalking. Attached are the instructions for collecting and sending the biological material. For any doubts, please contact the Secretariat by writing to [email protected], or Dr. Michele Sorrenti (3665616364), or Dr. Marco Fasoli (3470557445).
