They were 298 the young shooters who today took turns on the runways of the Tav Rome to conquer the titles of Winter Champion 2021 of the Fitav Youth Sector. A real battalion of new recruits who, in full compliance with the regulations to combat the pandemic, has shown the great desire to compete and keep the passion for sport alive. Last year, just before the stop imposed by the lockdown, the same competition registered 288 attendance. As a tradition, the specialty of Olympic pit with 245 participants. Samuele Faustinelli (Carabinieri) from Pian Camuno (BS) earned the title of the Junior Men, perfect in the first series with 25 and then first on the podium with 23 in the second and a total of 48/50.

Michele Vannoni from Gaiole in Chianti (SI) followed him on the podium two points behind him, with a silver score of 45/50, while six matched shooters at 44/50 took off for the bronze. Congratulations also due to Manuel Beatini of Montichiari (BS), gold among the Debutant with 42 ahead of Lorenzo Ugolini from Ravenna and Federico Scardino from Sava (TA), respectively second with 39 +4 and terzon with 39 +3. For women, the medals were ensured by Ambra Parodi from Cazzago San Martino (BS), first with 33, and Erika Salvadè from Villa Guardia (CO), second with 15. Finally, Lombardy with the quartet prevailed in the team ranking composed by Samuele Faustinelli, Manuel Beatini, Gianfranco Cheloni and Matteo Sertori with the total of 171. On the place of honor the colors bearers of Puglia Cosimo Salinaro, Mario Leogrande, Kevin Baccari and Federico Scardino with 168. Matteo Bragalli, Domenico Diana and Valerio De Nicola were also good, respectively first with 44, second with 37 and third with 33 in the ranking of Male Beginners. Finally, in the team classification the gold and the title of Winter Champions were earned by Cristian Giudici, Marco Coco and Giammarco Tuzi with 142/150 representing Lazio. Silver the trio from Tuscany formed Cristian Ghilli, Paolo Micheli and Giovanni Menghi with 141/150, and the bronze one from Puglia with Damiano Schiavoni, Alessandro Lippolis and Stefano Carbone with 190.
