2015 was a very positive year for Beretta Holding. As reported by Milano Finanzain fact, the economic data all have the plus sign, therefore revenues and profits induce optimism. The Gardone Val Trompia company has communicated the results of the last financial year, characterized by revenue growth equal to six percentage points. The total touched i 661 million euro, a very respectable estimate. The gross operating margin was also very interesting, just under 103 million (16% of the total turnover).
As for profits, then, they increased by 15%, reaching 47,3 million euros (in 2014 they had stopped at 40 million). What emerges from the revenue analysis? Beretta's businesses are well diversified: a quarter of the total turnover is represented by products outside the firearms sector. The division's revenues have grown opto-electronics (+ 6%), while the hunting and sports apparel and accessories sector recorded an interesting + 4%.
Geographically the Lombard group showed a strongly international character. Almost all of the revenues come from foreign countries (95% to be exact), while the Italian figure is decreasing. The North American market has exceeded 58%, the real engine of demand. As pointed out by the CEO Pietro Gussalli Beretta, synergistic acquisitions are under consideration in every part of the world.
