In recent days, a 34-year-old hunter from Arezzo, engaged in a hunt with his hunting team in the Valdarno, was attacked by a wild boar. The accident occurred in a hunting reserve near Poggio Bagnoli, in the municipality of Pergine in the province of Arezzo. Immediately the batting companions intervened to help the hunter but had great difficulty in removing the animal that had raged on the body of the man, now ended up on the ground. Once they managed to put the boar to flight, the hunters immediately applied laces to the leg of the injured companion in order to stop the bleeding that he had suffered following the attack by the wild.
Shortly after the wounded hunter was carried by his companions to their jeep, walking for hundreds of meters in the woods as the attack took place in a somewhat inaccessible area. Hence the race to the San Donato hospital in Arezzo, where the 34-year-old was immediately medicated and twenty stitches were applied to close the wound caused by the wild boar.
