The national assembly of the Pointer club of Italy was held in Salerno, organized by the Coordinator of Campania Mario Di Pinto. The assembly took place at the Luna club.
Ninety members were present, with a large representation from all Italian regions. Present, in addition to the national president Enzo Casiraghi, the Vice Presidents Agosteo and Bernabè, the councilor Marelli, the Mayor Masci and the Secretary of the Club. Also present were the president of Federcaccia Salerno Luigi Spera and the president of ATC Salerno 1 Guglielmo Storti and many keen pointer hunters.
From the discussion emerged the desire to promote initiatives related to competitive dog lovers in parks, thus activating, through the hunting dog, prepared for tests without shooting, a circuit that would attract dog lovers from all over Italy. Meanwhile, after the pointers, the national Bracco Italiano meeting is also scheduled in the province of Salerno.
Cannalonga will host the event scheduled for 26 and 27 May, promoted by SABI (Società Amatori Bracco Italiano). The gathering is for many passionate poachers a moment of cultural updating on the current state of the breed and its evolution. Over thirty Italian bracchi will parade in the town square for the usual test of hunting aptitude.
