The provincial section of Brescia of Italian Federation of Hunting he recalled the commitment of the association in schools which has been going on for some years now. It is a series of courses of environmental and naturalistic education, with a series of projects repurposed from primary to secondary schools. A new work, on the other hand, concerned theComprehensive Institute of Marcheno as part of the initiatives of the National Hunting Archive.
The goal is to make pupils more aware from an environmental and territorial point of view. In particular, the economy in Val Trompia at the beginning of the twentieth century, deepening the living conditions of the residents, their diet and the hunting conditions. The boys also attended a workshop on hunting and with the title "Hunting, from survival to ...".
Based on what emerged from the pupils' study, in the first part of the twentieth century, hunting with rifles was scarcely practiced, as it is too expensive. The most common techniques for capturing birds were those that made use of snares, bows, traps and nets, while fixed hunting systems were exploited in the mountains, the “uccellande” or roccoli, a tradition kept up to the present day.
