The hunting season in Molise begins on 20 September 2020 and ends on 10 February 2021, according to the resolution of the council approved in recent days. Pre-openings planned for certain species: Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix), Jay (Garrulus glandarius), Magpie (Pica pica) in pre-opening on 2 and 6 September 2020 from temporary stakeout without the aid of the dog, with the obligation to reach and leave the site with an unloaded weapon in custody.
- Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus), hunting sampling:
from 20 September 2020 to 30 November 2020.
- Quail (Coturnix coturnix)
Hunting sampling:
from 20 September 2020 to 31 October 2020.
- Tortora (Streptopelia turturus)
Hunting sampling: in pre-opening, exclusively on 2 and 6 September 2020, in stalking and without the aid of the dog, with the obligation to reach and leave the site with an unloaded weapon in custody.
b) from 20 September 2020 to 30 September 2020.
- Wood pigeon (Columba palumbus)
Hunting sampling:
a) from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020;
- Woodcock (Scolopax rusticola)
Hunting sampling:
c) from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020, the maximum daily withdrawal cannot exceed n. 3 heads;
d) from 2 January 2021 to 20 January 2021, the maximum daily withdrawal cannot exceed n. 2 heads;
e) from 21 January 2021 to 31 January 2021, the maximum daily withdrawal cannot exceed n. 1 head.
The maximum seasonal withdrawal cannot in any case exceed the limit of n. 20 garments.
- Lepre (Lepus europaeus)
Hunting sampling:
a) from 20 September 2020 to 16 December 2020;
- Boar (Sus scrofa)
Hunting sampling:
a) from 14 October 2020 to 13 January 2021;
b) wild boar hunting is regulated according to the disciplinary approved with DGR n. 134 of 30/04/2019;
c) the occasional killing of wild boars in individual form is allowed, without the aid of follow-up dogs.
