Hunt in Benevento. The memorandum of understanding between the Provincial Administration and the Territorial Area of Hunting Benevento is contained in a recent resolution approved by the President of the Province, Claudio Ricci with the aim of protecting and enhancing the native wildlife heritage "of great size and naturalistic value" by implementing synergistic interventions between the two entities compatibly with the management and organizational needs of the protected areas and the exercise of hunting activities.
The agreement also provides for the implementation of periodic or "ad hoc" censuses of the animal populations permanently resident in the territory and / or migrants, the monitoring of problematic species with regard to wildlife, the territory and agricultural crops, in compliance with the ISPRA protocols, the creation of an IT and telematic system for research and monitoring activities in the area for the analysis of wildlife, hunting activities, environmental sustainability and the management of the ZRC, Restocking and Capture Areas.
The agreement falls within the faculties that the regional legislation assigns to the Province and that intervene in the study relating to the trend of reproduction of wild species, the formulation of proposals regarding the provincial wildlife-hunting planning and finally the collaboration with the competent bodies for study and investigation activities regarding the consistency, reproduction and collection of the fauna heritage. The agreement will be in force for the entire duration of validity of the Provincial Wildlife Hunting Plan.
