A school for hunters is born in Bergamo that will contribute to spreading the hunting and wildlife culture as well as to safeguard the territory.
By next spring, the Province of Bergamo and ABF, the Bergamo-based Training Company, will promote the Bergamo Wildlife Hunting Academy, an initiative aimed at spreading the culture of hunting art, the fauna culture and contributing to a more effective safeguard. of the territory.
The course will obviously be open to all hunters without age limits and to all those citizens who are interested in deepening their knowledge on the themes of hunting, fauna, the environment and the protection of the territory with a passage to the gastronomic aspect.
The provincial councilor for hunting, Alessandro Cottini, explains the project, “We are finalizing the memorandum of understanding and the agreement that we will have to sign with ABF. In fact, the Bergamo Training Company will manage the courses, identifying the qualified speakers and creating the appropriate Register, identifying the subjects to be offered to users and choosing the duration of the courses ".
Finally, Cottini specifies, "The Academy, the first at a regional level, will be a school for training present and future hunters and professionals in the sector, also extending the study to topics such as environmental requalification, repopulation situations, improvement of wildlife".
The Bergamo Training Company will organize the courses based on the number of requests, furthermore interested parties will be able to participate upon payment of a registration fee that the institute has not yet set.
