As reported by the Provincial Federcaccia of Brescia, in November there will be the official inauguration of the Game Meat Processing Center (abbreviated simply in CLS) of the Lombard city. THE trained hunters they will have the opportunity to sell and process the meat of culled animals. European regulations clearly indicate that people who they hunt wildlife, in order to sell or market the prey taken for human consumption, they must have sufficient knowledge of diseases, production and treatment of game and game meat after hunting.
This is the only way to carry out a preliminary examination of the same subjects preyed on the spot, to guarantee the safety of the food sold and the final consumer. The course we are talking about will take place just next month in collaboration with the Veterinary Department of the Brescia ATS.
These are two evenings that provide for the verification of the notions assimilated through a written test and the consequent release of the certificate. All the subjects authorized to hunt for selection of ungulates and collective boar hunting who have already attended the FIDC Brescia courses three years ago will have to follow only one evening (dates will be announced soon). However, verification will also be necessary for these subjects.
