Il Hunting Calendar 2018-2019 of the Campania Region will go into discussion next April 19 in Regional Wildlife Hunting Technical Committee. In the report that examined the last few years (from the 2009-2010 season to the 2017-2018 season), a reduction in registrations to Territorial Areas of Hunting, which has gone from just under 62 thousand members to around 42 thousand. Subscriptions fell 32%, a sobering figure.
As for the pre-opening, the days of 1, 2 and 5 September 2018 will be dedicated to stalking blackbird and turtle dove hunting. On 1, 2, 5, 9 and 13 September, however, it will be possible to collect magpies, jays and gray crows (always from a stalking position). The official date of departure will be that of September 16, with the species involved that will be turtledove, quail and pheasant (in the first two cases the deadline was set at 31 October, while for the pheasant at 31 January 2019).
Foxes will be hunted from 1 October to 31 January, while teal will be hunted from 1 October to 20 January. The list is completed by the wild rabbit (1 October-29 November), lark (1 October-31 December), thrushes and cesene (1 October-31 January) and snipe (1 October-20 January). As for the boarinstead, it will be possible to start next October 1st and end on December 31st.
It is important to remember the game bag to respect. For the sedentary fauna, the total number of animals per day must not exceed five (wild boar), two foxes, two pheasants, one head each for hares, partridges and rabbits, without forgetting the seasonal collection of hare (10 animals) and gray partridges and rabbits (5 animals). Finally, as regards migratory fauna, the limits are as follows: 25 lapwings, quails and turtledoves, 15 codons and waterways, 20 woodcocks and 50 larks.
