In yesterday's meeting, Thursday 11 October, thanks to the initiative undertaken by Federcaccia, the determination of the additional fee for each hunter for the hunted wild boar hunt that some components, including the Agricultural Associations, proposed to set at Euro 20. The request to reach a vote within the ATC Committee on this thorny issue, responded for Federcaccia to the need to guarantee a correct and transparent process from a formal and substantial point of view that someone had tried to "force" in the previous session, where the amount of 20 Euros for each hunter had already been improperly fixed by the ATC.
The position that the member of Federcaccia brought to the discussion on this point was clear-cut and unequivocal: set the amount at 5 or a maximum of 10 euros in full harmony and in equal measure with what has already been established also by the neighboring ATC FI5. In fact, both for budgetary reasons and for type of territory, there are no valid reasons to ask the hunters registered in the ATC FI 4 for an unjustified "tax" out of any principle of equity and equal dignity between the two ATCs. The outcome of the meeting showed the "contradictions" that characterize some representatives on the committee. The compact vote of farmers and Terranostra, and the abstention of the institutional representative, was only opposed by the contrary vote of the FIDC representatives.
The exponent Arci Caccia polemically and incomprehensibly left the discussion table, before the vote, preventing a resolution of the Committee that would seal a lowering agreement on quotas, thus tacitly confirming the previous resolution. After days of controversy triggered by Arci Caccia against us and against the ATC presidency, having obtained from us a new meeting of the committee to overcome the previous resolution, Arci Caccia with its representative does "Pontius Pilate" in fact, giving the hunters the reconfirmation result of 20 euros. To each the evaluations of the case but it would be said that "whoever wounds by the sword perishes". We continue to fight so that the ATC bodies and the Tuscany Region, re-evaluate the issue and ensure fairness on an unfair and unacceptable tax; perhaps considering it an advance fee for future years as formally requested by the President of Federcaccia Firenze Simone Tofani.
