Caccia, De Lucia: "A new rule that protects the environment and older hunters"
The eighth council commission "Agriculture, Hunting, Fishing, Community and state resources for development", chaired by the regional councilor Pasquale De Lucia, will hold a hearing on the new law on hunting tomorrow morning at the Isola F8 business center: " protection of wildlife and hunting in Campania ". This is a decisive step to structure the new legislation consisting of 45 articles, as explained by the president Pasquale De Lucia: "It is undoubtedly a more organic law than that of 1996 that will give hunters in the Campania Region the possibility of carry out their hunting activities with dignity and respect for the environment and the territory. The law eliminates various administrative levels and therefore streamlines the procedures for registering in the areas, in fact the registrations for hunters will no longer take place for individual days but for the entire hunting season.
The criterion for formulating the authorizations is replaced by the age of majority, in this way we will also favor those who have more difficulties in accessing the web, such as elderly hunters. Furthermore, the text being approved - concludes De Lucia - establishes the oases of wildlife protection, because this is a law that contributes not a little to respect for the environment ”.
Representatives of the associations will be present at the appeal: Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, CIA, Enpa, Federcaccia, Enelcaccia, Anuu, Eps, Lipu, Italcaccia, Liberalcaccia, WWF, Enci, Arpicaccia, Pro Segugio. The regional councilor for agriculture, Vito Amendolara, the hunting delegates of the 5 Campania provinces and those of the provincial areas (ATC) were invited to the hearing.
