September 1, 2022 as the starting date (pre-opening) and February 9 of next year for the closing date. These are the two reference dates of the hunting calendar 2022-2023 of the Marche, a text that has just been approved by the Regional Council and which follows quite faithfully the drafts that had circulated in the past few weeks. The hunting periods for the different species are indicated below:
a) Tortora (Streptopelia turtur): on days 1, 3, 4 September 2022 according to the specified methods
in the paragraph "Hunting for wild turtledove".
b) Teal, Mallard and Garganey: on days 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 14 September 2022 according to the
methods specified in the paragraph "Hunting days in pre-opening" and from 18 September 2022
as of January 14, 2023.
c) Wood pigeon: on 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 14 September 2022 according to the specified methods
in the paragraph "Hunting days in pre-opening" and from 18 September 2022 to 14 January 2023.
d) Quail: on 11 and 14 September 2022 according to the methods specified in the paragraph
"Quail hunting in pre-opening" and from 18 September to 31 October 2022.
e) Jay, Magpie, Hooded Crow: from 1 October 2022 to 30 January 2023 and on 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 February 2023 according to the procedures specified in the paragraph "Hunting for Corvids in the month
of February 2023 ".
f) Hare, wild rabbit, pheasant, red partridge: from 18 September to 30 November 2022 in
fixed days of Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
- In the AAFFVV for the Pheasant, which can be hunted on specific annual collection plans, the season of
hunting ends December 31, 2022.
g) Fox: from 18 September 2022 to 30 January 2023.
h) Gray partridge: from 21 September to 30 November 2022 on fixed days of Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
i) Rock partridge: the taking of the species is not allowed, except for specific management plans of
AATTCC or AAFFVV approved by the Region and prepared as indicated by the
National Management Plan for the Rock Partridge approved by the Standing Conference for i
relations between the state, the regions and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
j) Merlo: from 18 September to 31 December 2022.
k) Song Thrush: from 18 September 2022 to 9 January 2023.
l) Cesena, Redwing: from 18 September 2022 to 19 January 2023.
m) Lark: from 1 October to 31 December 2022.
n) Gadwall, Codon, Wigeon, Shoveler: from 18 September 2022 to 30 January 2023 (from 21 to 30 January 2023 hunting is allowed only in the "stalking" form).
o) Moorhen, Coot, Water Rail, Snipe, Whisk: from 18 September 2022 to 30 January 2023.
p) Fighter: from 18 September to 31 October 2022 according to the procedures specified in
paragraph "Hunt the Fighter".
q) Woodcock: from 1 October 2022 to 19 January 2023 according to the procedures specified in the paragraph
"Woodcock hunting".
r) Moretta: from 15 October 2022 to 30 January 2023; (from 21 to 30 January 2023 hunting is
allowed only in the "stalking" form).
s) Boar with collection in collective form (hunted and turned) and in individual form (excluding
of selection hunting): on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays according to the following
calendar:
- provinces of Fermo, Ascoli Piceno: from 16 October 2022 to 15 January 2023;
- provinces of Pesaro and Urbino, Ancona, Macerata: from 30 October 2022 to 29 January 2023
