After the proposal of the councilor for hunting of the Marche region, Moreno Pieroni, hunting calendar 2018-2019 it was sent to the competent Council Commission for final approval. The dates in the text are already known: the Marche hunters will start the activity next September 1st and will end it on 10 February 2019, as established by the regional council.
Here is what Pieroni himself reported: "With these last acts, a virtuous path is completed, which began as early as April with the selective collection of wild boar and the first control plan of the species, through all the possible initiatives aimed at better management of the fauna and at the same time the protection of agricultural crops.". Pre-opening has been authorized for some species, viz turtle doves, wood pigeons, crows, jays, magpies, teals, mallards and garganeys. From September to December, then, there will be hunting for sedentary game, without forgetting the collection of crows, magpies and wood pigeons in February.

Furthermore, in the hunting calendar there is talk of the annotation on the hunting card of the sedentary and migratory fauna immediately after the killing. Finally, hunting notwithstanding was scheduled for starling, pigeon, collared dove on early opening days. Now only the final approval of the text is awaited.
