The official conclusion of the fourteenth edition of "Hunting in the kitchen" it was a real success. As evidenced by the Brescia provincial delegation of ANUUMIgratoristi, an association that took care of the organization of last Sunday's lunch, a magnificent convivial meeting was held at the “Aquila d'Oro” restaurant in Ospitaletto. The closing of the seven gastronomic-hunting days that is repeated regularly every year could not have been happier and it was possible to bring together in the best way civil society and the entire hunting world. The association also wanted to recall the perplexities of 2004, the year of the first edition of this event, when there was the proposal together with the Italian delegation of the CIC (the International Council for Hunting and Wildlife Conservation) and the occasion seemed destined to last only twelve months.
The fact that it is still talked about in such enthusiastic terms and that twelve years have passed since that moment confirms the goodness of intuition. The meetings have multiplied and the results have been profitable, especially if you look at the offer of game meat in the various menus specially prepared by starred chefs and more. The organizing team of the Lombardy and Veneto provinces have expressed their full satisfaction with the results achieved in this 2016: as can be read in the official note of the ANUU, the message already acquired in the territory and in the hunting and gastronomic magazines has been interpreted in a positive way.
However, "Caccia in the kitchen" has a very particular program and this final lunch was organized one week after the last day of the program (last February 28 to be precise). In fact, many provinces of Lombardy have decided to include other interesting dates in the calendar, as has also happened in past editions. The inauguration dates back to February 22, when the Società del Giardino di Milano hosted a rich and varied buffet, with Lombard cold cuts and cheeses, pate and marbrè of game and many other very fresh and quality dishes.
The membership of clubs and restaurants was convinced: the fact that there are farmhouses and trattorias allows you to still benefit from some appointments, given that the program is defined until next March 20. The reference point for more details andASCOM (Association of Merchants and Merchants of the Province of Bergamo), with 26 Bergamo restaurants that have joined. In particular, among the most interesting recipes are truffled hare trofiette, leg of venison in Valcalepio, jugged venison, farfalle with hare ragù and venison fillet in red wine.
