“The near future of hunting and wildlife management in our provincial territory raises a lot of concern and, at this moment more than ever, a discussion with the institutions is necessary - affirm the delegates of the CCT (Confederation of Tuscan Hunters). For this reason, sure of the goodness of our ideas, matured in the name of responsibility, effectiveness and in-depth knowledge of the territory, we organized a meeting yesterday with the group leader asking for availability for dialogue and discussion on upcoming operational issues, and underlining the need for direct involvement in the various phases of consultation. The outcome of the meeting is certainly positive, it bodes well for the future ”.
On the table of the meeting between the hunting associations gathered in the CCT (Federcaccia, ANUU and ARCT-Regional Association of Tuscan Hunters) and the leader of the Pd group in the Regional Council Leonardo Marras, important issues for the territory including: the regulations of the Objective law of the Tuscany Region for the control of ungulates; the revision of the areas suitable for hunting wild boar; the tour of the management committees of the Territorial Hunting Areas; concern for the amendment of law 394 which regulates hunting access to areas adjacent to parks and protected areas.
"The questions posed by the representatives of the hunting associations are certainly relevant - says Leonardo Marras -, I share the need to keep the discussion open and I, in fact, reiterated their maximum willingness to work together to identify the best solutions for the management of policies related to hunting ".
