Hunting in Rome: the Hunting Associations applaud the work of the Provincial Administration and are satisfied with the new Wildlife Hunting Plan.
On 18 October, the Provincial Council of Rome definitively approved the resolution of the Wildlife Hunting Plan of the Province of Rome, which completes the procedural process of this important instrument which is not limited to regulating hunting activities, but also relations with the agricultural world and protected areas. The new Plan has already been subjected to an impact assessment obtaining the positive opinion of the Lazio Region and will therefore be included in the Regional Wildlife Hunting Plan.
As logical as it was, due attention has been paid to the environment. In the new version there have been no changes, but only changes provided for by regional legislation. Finally, the agro-forestry-pastoral territory has been revisited, and those institutes that have lost the technical characteristics for which they were created have been eliminated, to balance the delicate relationship between the territory dedicated to hunting and the its progressive anthropization.
The recognized hunting associations of the province of Rome applaud the work of the commissioner Aurelio Lo Fazio, and congratulate the entire technical-administrative staff, for their commitment to achieving a document that hunters consider a fundamental tool for harmonizing anthropogenic activities with the correct management of the territory and above all of the wildlife that inhabits it.
