Just to give a necessary response to its members and hunters who ask for explanations, we briefly intervene on post-sales service - more correctly the meeting, given the modalities followed - aired on RAI Lazio regional network. Hunting Federation is intervening both at regional and national level, at the institutions, the Supervisory Committee and at the RAI asking for explanations both regarding the once again distorted use of the public service and the accusations brought against the Lazio Region by the protagonist of the interview.
We are pleased that our requests have also been collected by politics and we thank the regional leader of the League, Orlando Angelo Tripodi who has publicly invited the President of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, to deny "the lies of the 'Committee Yes we abolish hunting' on hunting activities, including public funds spent on restocking of animals and subsidies given to federations". Given the gravity of what was declared during the interview, we hope that the entire council will take a position as soon as possible, including recourse to legal action if necessary.
In addition to the hunters, we believe that the Lazio Region owes it to all citizens, regardless of their position on the issue in question. Federcaccia, for its part, is evaluating with its lawyers how to proceed against those responsible. It is not our intention to give further publicity to the story since visibility is the only thing that promoters of the collection of signatures are looking for and every time that the hunters talk about the "referendum" - which we remember once again does not exist at the moment - only more fuel is supplied to the ramshackle, but no less dangerous machine than the anti-hunting ideology (Source: Hunting Federation).
