Convened by Commissioner Oscar Stella, for the election of the new president and the executive board, the Assembly was held in Rome UCIM - Union of Italian Migration Hunters, sectoral of the Italian Federation of Hunting which, as the name clearly suggests, gathers all fans of the migratory hunt. Introducing the work, Stella thanked the local representatives who took part and determined broad participation in the meeting, a sign of a strong interest in continuing the activities and projects that have made the sector's activity important and significant over the years.
An overview of the history and the work carried out was outlined thanks to the intervention of Massimo Neri, FIdC Emilia Romagna delegate, who retraced the initiatives and successes of UCIM from its birth to today. The assembly elected Carlo Romanelli as President. The new president, thanking him for the trust given, dedicated his appointment to the memory of his father and grandfather, who passed on to him the passion for hunting which represented a fundamental value in his life path. Romanelli then highlighted the key points at the basis of the future program: team work in the area, also to enhance volunteering and local projects, and coordination with theFIdC Studies and Research Office on research and study projects as well as a strong commitment to the defense of traditional hunts.
Elected members of the Board were Oscar Lombardi, Gherardo Ambrosini, Emiliano Galvanetto for the Northern regions; Mario Pucci, Giovanni De Luca and Nazzareno Galassi for the southern regions. At the end of the Assembly, the Board approved the appointments of the two Vice-Presidents and the Secretary: elected Gherardo Ambrosini and Mario Pucci Vice-Presidents and Emiliano Galvanetto Secretary.
