Joseph Pan, regional councilor for hunting of Veneto, commented on the increase in the number of people who will be empowered to ring the ornithological species for display. According to Pan, it's about a "useful and intelligent" solution, able to save economic resources to the region, which would otherwise be forced to finance the activities of the provinces. The Regional Council has approved an amendment that will expand the subjects that may have to do with ringing.
Now the activity can also be managed by FIMOV (Italian Federation of Hunting Ornithological Manifestations), From FOI (Italian Federation of Orchards) and by the other associations that have joined the World Ornithological Confederation. The same discourse will be valid for the associations recognized by the Veneto Region.
Among other things, a regulation was also thought of to warn, suspend or revoke the recognition we are talking about in the event of measures or sanctions on specific matters. Pan then recalled how the local authority will take care of the activation of specific protocols for what concerns the checks and controls, without forgetting thecrossing of data and information. The commissioner defined the standard as "good", the aim of which is to improve a little-known sector in general.
