Always ready - and never as in this period they have shown it with facts - to mobilize when their help is needed, the hunters of Agropoli, in the province of Salerno, responded with enthusiasm and participation to the request for intervention made to them by local Caritas. As is the custom of the pastoral organization of the Cei, also on this occasion it was a question of providing basic necessities and food to the most needy families in the area and the response agreed with the local managers has come in the form of excellent and healthy wild boar meat - obviously subjected to all the necessary checks - made available by selecontrollers of the Alento District while the organization and management of the initiative was handled by Vincenzo Berardi, president of the Federcaccia municipal section of Agropoli.
The event with the distribution of what was prepared was held last year 28st May at the headquarters of Caritas in the Church of Brother Giacomo in Agropoli. Prof. Palladino responsible for Caritas of Agropoli, Mr. Di Lucia responsible for the distribution with great and effective collaboration of Francesco, a young volunteer from Agropoli who helps Caritas in sorting and delivering products.
