It was held in Giffone (RC) the 8th edition of the cartridge case collection and waste organized by Felice Valente and Michele Pasqualone. The day started with the gathering of hunters in the small square in the center (in compliance with the current covid-19 laws with safety devices) which, after being divided into groups, equipped with a lot of good will, have not only beaten the paths most frequented by hunters, but the whole territory for the collection of any various waste. The campaign is now working great because people, especially young hunters, are becoming more and more aware of the environmental issue.
This is demonstrated by the participation of simple volunteers or citizens far from hunting, such as the members of the local civil protection association San Bartolomeo di Giffone captained by the president Francesco Valente, the moral patronage of the mayor Antonio Albanese, as always present in the first person, and the patronage of the ATC Rc1 of the president Rocco Palamara, in addition to the adhesion of the president of the provincial section Domenico Iero.
Many sponsors supported the initiative by sending gadgets (caps, key rings and other useful accessories for our beloved passion) including great names such as: Canicom Italia, Crispi, Benelli Armi Italia, Nobel Sport Italia, Condofuri Marina polygon, Club 410 by Carlo Rizzini. There were also local gun shops: Hunter's House - Reggio Calabria, Edoardo Farina - Reggio Calabria, Mazzeo Valeria - Serrata (Rc), Morabito Gaetano, Armory ammunition and fireworks - Oppido Mamertina (Rc), Exa, Melicucco - Reggio Calabria , Amuso Salvatore - Taurianova (Rc), Hip by Giorgio De Luca. The organizers Valente and Pasqualone expressed their pride in the success of the event which increasingly pushes people to respect the environment and nature. The event was followed by many local media, such as "Gazzetta del Sud" and "Quotidiano della Calabria", and disseminated by various national hunting newspapers and internet magazines.
