Approximately 130 are enrolled in the training and refresher course for Voluntary Hunting Security Guards organized by Provincial Section Federcaccia of Macerata which will be held at the Hotel San Crispino in Trodica di Morrovalle, starting from Wednesday 12 June, for a total of 40 hours as required by current legislation. Hunting Guards of other hunting associations also joined the refresher course.
Regarding the training course, the aspiring Volunteer Hunting Guards must attend at least 32 hours. For teaching subjects, as per Regional Council resolution, the following will be dealt with: the discipline of hunting; the weapons; the penalty system; environmental protection; notions of first aid.
It is recalled that the Province of Macerata, territory and environment sector, Provincial Police service, clarified, with a note of June 4 2019, which, having regard to the regulation for the coordination of the voluntary fishing and ecological surveillance service for the purpose of renewing the Voluntary Security Guard decree, including those operating within the wildlife and hunting farms, there is the obligation to participate in at least 2/3 of the number of lessons of the qualification and refresher courses organized by the Marche Region or by the hunting associations.
