Emmanuel Fiorini, leader of the Lega in Umbria Region, has decided to clarify the work done by voluntary hunting guards. This is the same councilor who had presented a question to better understand this activity e its coordination. The response of the regional councilor for hunting, Fernanda Cecchini, did not satisfy him and it was reiterated that there is a lot of confusion on the subject.
As reported by Fiorini, Umbrian hunters have been the protagonists of strange and unpleasant events during the performance of the hunting activity. Several fines, in particular, were imposed by people who could not perform the role of voluntary guards due to the lack of possession of the regular decree issued by the provinces. These local authorities are the only ones who can enable controls, yet the decree would have been absent in many situations.
Here is what Fiorini said in this regard: "I presented a written answer question to councilor Cecchini for clarification on the powers of assessment and imposition of sanctions in fish-hunting matters by WWF volunteer guards. I also asked if within the WWF there are subjects in possession of a specific decree by the province of Perugia that legitimizes them to this activity of ascertaining and imposing sanctions ".
