A few days ago the sentence of the Judge of Peace who condemned theTerritorial hunting area of Avezzano a compensate a local hunter due to the allocation of an area for wild boar hunting defined as "unsuitable". The reply of the Abruzzo ATC was not long in coming. As updated today by the newspaper Il Centro, in fact, the president Giacomo Di Domenico has made it known that he will be there the appeal against the ruling, given that the area assigned in the case under discussion cannot be defined as dangerous. Furthermore, the Sector underlined how the Province of L'Aquila has never ascertained anything in this sense, consequently wild boar hunting was authorized on a more than regular basis.
The ATC reiterated its respect for the sentence we are talking about, without however neglecting the doubts and perplexities that arose after reading the judge's reasons and which will be noted in the appeal. Di Domenico has also addressed controversially to those who intend to use the pronunciation to beat money, given that other hunters may seek similar compensation taking a cue from what is now an important precedent.
According to the Territorial Hunting Area, the story has taken on singular contours, as the same case had previously been judged by the judges to the contrary: it has been categorically denied that other investigations are opened in the Prosecutor's Office with the same reasons as the 36-year-old hunter to whom the appeal was accepted. A further clarification concerns the Court of Auditors. As explained by the president of the ATC, the body of constitutional importance does not control the Territorial Areas of Hunting, as it happens instead in the case of other public bodies.
Based on what was established by the Justice of the Peace, the assigned area, specifically the one named "La Cesalonga", was not suitable for hunting. In addition, it was explained how an executive had turned to Di Domenico to look for an alternative solution for the group of 22 hunters ("I Limieri"). The Province of Aquilia recognized the dangers complained of by the Abruzzo hunter. The reference to the other team members is not accidental, given that Much of the controversy hinged on the fact that hunters had paid taxes on a regular basis to secure ATC membership, without however having the possibility to kill the wild boars during the hunting season 2013-2014. From what is being understood, it will certainly not be the last word of the story, further developments and replicas are expected.
