Three days entirely dedicated to the hunting and fishing world: from 1st to 3rd April next will take place the eleventh edition of the fair ExpoRiva Hunting Fishing Environment a Riva del Garda (province of Trento), a fixed appointment for Trentino Alto Adige since 2006. This is the event dedicated to hunting, especially the alpine and selection ones, and fishing (primarily fly fishing and spinning). The numbers of the last edition, that of 2015, were important, with 228 companies present and over 15 thousand visitors (9% more than a year before), in a month we will try to do even better and of record new records. Hunting and fishing enthusiasts will surely find something for their teeth, the program is as rich as ever.
For example, interesting ones can be pointed out "Pills of culture" promoted byAssociation of Trentino Hunters: topics such as the effect of climate on woodcock migration, the relationship to be established between handler and hunter and the effect of climate changes on pointing dogs will be addressed. No less interesting will be the round table on Sunday 3 April entitled "Wild boars conquer the Alps", in which reference will be made to collective hunting experiences in Central European countries and to shooting with the authorized dog.
The double dog exposure and the sixth edition of the "Mario Rigoni Stern Award" which is dedicated to the multilingual literature of the Alps (narrative section). The exhibitors are ready to showcase weapons, clothing, optics, accessories and more, not to mention the contribution offered by the hunting agencies. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to know and try the best products that are currently on the market, given that a special area has been set up for tests and optical instruments.
However, hunting folklore will not be in the background, so much so that the program includes events and shows, including concerts of hunting horns, demonstrations of craftsmen who create hunting objects and the traditional "Conductor's Feast", which includes typical Tyrolean dances and a local culinary menu. The gastronomy will therefore have ample space and an equipped area will allow you to taste and buy the best of Trentino food and wine and other Italian regions. In conclusion, it is worth mentioning the exhibition of naturalistic illustrations "Lost freedoms", a real act of denunciation against poaching and the dramatic moments of capture in our country by Marco Boetti (illustrator), Mattia Boetti (graphics) and Eraldo Minetti (texts).
