The Management Committee ofTerritorial hunting area of Caserta just approved the hunting plan for pheasants. Obviously we are talking about the hunting season 2018-2019. Hunters are obliged to comply with the provisions contained in the provision in question, so as not to suffer sanctions based on the legislation currently in force.
What specifically was decided? Pheasant hunting will be allowed throughout the marketable territory which falls within the perimeters of the Caserta ATC, to be precise until a maximum withdrawal of 4 thousand heads is reached. The departure was set from the third Sunday of September (so just four days ago) until 31 January 2019 (three full months), except for SIC areas (Sites of Community Interest), Special Protection Areas and SACs where pheasant hunting is only permitted from 1st October to 31st December of this year.
The plan limited the collection of the species to just under 34% of the animals that were introduced, in order to facilitate the conservation of self-sufficient quotas in nature. The hunters must also note the killing on the Campanian hunting card, without forgetting the reporting of the killing of the species to the Management Committee of the Caserta ATC.
