The registration fees to theFI5 Hunting Area (South Florence) caused the reaction of the Provincial Federcaccia. The commissioner of the Tuscan ATC, Piero Certosi, explained the situation. According to Certosi, the information relating to the alleged increase would be inaccurate e it would need clarification. The commissioner recalled a year ago that the insolvency of the Florentine area was declared with the consequent mass resignation of the management committee.
The objectives achieved twelve months later are the closing of the 2017 financial statements, the reorganization of the 2018 final balance sheet and the resumption of the good administrative performance. For Certosi the territory had to be reorganized for a safer use, efficiently organizing the interventions aimed at prevent damage. The access fee therefore remained unchanged (35 euros) for those who opted for access to only one district, while the cost of the other ones was set at 10 euros. Here is another clarification of the commissioner: "The division of the non-vocated area into three districts (Chianti-Valdarno, Valdelsa, Montalbano) will allow greater efficiency in damage prevention and hunting.
This prospect allowed, against the maintenance of the 35 euro quota for wild boar hunting, a reduction of 10 euro of contribution for those who carry out selection hunting for roe deer only, as well as a reduction in the access fee for hunting wild boar in a suitable area, passing the contribution from 10 to 5 euros. This last decision also came from the big one collaboration and availability shown by the teams in implementing the ATC damage prevention program ”. For these reasons Federcaccia was asked to use greater caution.
