The changes to the regional law 26/93 of Lombardy. Unfortunately it was no longer possible to make some corrective measures considered fundamental, as on high visibility for both hunters and vigilance, but this must be done as soon as possible. Certainly of great media coverage is the selection of wild boar hunting also with the use of night vision devices and potentially extended to the whole calendar year, as required by the ISPRA guidelines. Obviously, the opinion of ISPRA will however indicate the exact terms and also the times.
This is a norm that has also turned on controversy in the hunting world itself: there are many hunters who do not share the idea of hunting at night. In this sense we consider very positively the Agenda signed by the Councilors of the League (Anelli and Malanchini) approved by the Regional Council, by virtue of which Areas and Districts they will have to coordinate the different forms of wild boar hunting with a view to safety. Another very important agenda presented by the Councilor Franco (Mixed Group) approved and which commits the Regional Council to review regulation no. 16/2003, relating to hunting in the Alps area and dog training.
Another important change is that relating to the timing of the selection hunt also of polygastric ungulates, which will finally allow, especially in the Pavese Apennines, the organization of sampling according to times consistent with those of the other Apennine Regions. The woodcock becomes huntable in January on Saturdays and Sundays outside Alps area. We would also like to remind you that if it has not been possible to renew the permanent posting authorization for serious reasons (for example, the holder's health), it will not be mandatory to demolition of the shed for two years. The periods in which “wandering” hunters and those from stalking can also take advantage of the 15 days of daily option change have also been equalized.
