THEAssociation of Lombard Hunters, Anuu Migrators, Enalcaccia, Free Hunting, Arci Caccia e Italhunt issued a joint statement. Here is what we read in the note: "We learned through the media, without being consulted, that the Lombardy Region will provide for the experimentation of the hunting card in electronic format through an application on mobile phones. An experiment that should involve a few dozen Brescia hunters divided among all associations.
Given that, as mentioned above, no association has been questioned on the matter and we have not been told even on the occasion of the recent meeting held in Milan, in the Region, with the officials of theDepartment of Agriculture, as hunting associations we feel we can reject this initiative from the sender as it complicates and does not simplify the formalities to be carried out during the hunting season. Our world, it is well known, is mostly made up of elderly people who are unfamiliar with smartphones and more, or who do not even have this tool connected to the network and who therefore would be in serious difficulty in addressing the issue.
Probably it is a speech appreciated by young people that handle these latest generation devices with ease. This application on the phone might be a little more in terms of security, but the fact then of the geo-location it raises some doubts of an interpretative nature. Therefore, reiterating the fact that they have never been questioned and involved in this initiative that touches us closely, the aforementioned associations do not intend to participate in any experimentation. Furthermore these same associations are already moving also at the regional level. The hope is that this initiative will not be binding for the future and that it will leave hunters the choice of being able to mark the hunting days, the Lombard ATCs and the sampling, on the traditional card ".
I would like to know who are the luminaries who have made a similar proposal to the Lombardy Region?
