THEUNCZA (National Union of Alpine Zone Hunters), Federcaccia sector, has launched a competition to assign two awards for degree thesis in the field of biology, ethology and management of alpine wildlife. The arguments must relate to the history and evolution of hunting as far as it concerns the Alpine arc of our country. Participation in the call is open to all students who finish their degree course in the year 2017: for the two winners there is a cash prize worth one thousand euros.
All the papers will be evaluated by a selection board composed of prominent figures in the hunting field. This is the president of the UNCZA, who will chair the entire commission, a representative of ISPRA (Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research), a representative of the Mach Foundation, two wildlife experts (appointed by the national council of the Union) and an expert in the history of alpine hunting (also appointed by the national council). In the coming days there will be the publication of the official poster with the application form and all the details to learn more about the thesis.
