THEUNCZA (National Union of Hunters in the Alps Area) has published a very interesting call for proposals two awards for as many degree theses. The subject of the university works will have to concern the biology, ethology and management of alpine wildlife, as well as understanding the themes related to the history and evolution of hunting in regards to the Alpine arc of our country. Participation in the competition is open to all students who have graduated and will conclude their path inyear of production 2016. In addition, the two winners will receive a prize of one thousand euros each.
All the papers will be evaluated by a jury which will be composed of the president of the UNCZA, a representative of ISPRA, a representative of the Mach Foundation, two wildlife experts to be appointed by the UNCZA National Council and an expert in the history of alpine hunting appointed by the same Board.
The Commission will propose its winners e will take decisions by majority of the members: in the event of a tie, the vote of the President of the Union will have more value. It will not fail either a special ceremony to deliver the prizes to the selected students. Copies of the degree theses submitted by university students will be kept in the archives of the UNCZA, which may also arrange for their publication, in whole or in part.
