Mr Barbara Mazzali, regional councilor of Lombardy (Brothers of Italy), entrusted his interesting reflection to Facebook: "Leal-Antivivisectionist League is promoting a collection of signatures to abolish hunting. They say they will fight "a great battle of civilizations" for "Abolish a bloody, violent and bloody activity". How much ignorance! What they don't know is that the real hunter rejects the idea of inflicting suffering on animals in death.
Let's go hunting for:
- self-sufficient spirit and wild attraction
- procure meat ethically and ecologically (or for wildlife protection)
- economy and with respect to purchasing for regular rural residents and low-income retirees.
I would like to say pity that the hunters are too FEW! Animal rights activists and ecologists should understand this: Ethical Hunting can represent a step forward with respect to the current situation of exaggerated and alienated meat and dairy consumption and environmental degradation. And from ethical vegans, a little more foresight and a clear mind: fighting hunting means encouraging intensive farming, that is, obtaining the opposite effect! Veganism remains isolated when entering the material world because the exclusion of all animal-derived foods and clothing is seen as an exaggeration even by vegetarians. Absolute veganism has not improved the condition of farmed animals, which has worsened, because it is exploited in politics. It is believed that the hunter is the opposite of vegetarianism, but in reality there is the average consumer, not those who go hunting. At Leal it takes 500 signatures, but it seems that they are sure to find them by organizing banquets throughout Italy. We'll see. What is certain is that they are not the first to try and they will not be the last, but the offensives of animal rights activists have always been rejected. Many times the announcements did not even follow the signature collections and everything ended up in a soap bubble. They have a great desire to do, but little preparation to implement their intentions ”.
