2015 from today UNA Foundation has become the reference of concrete environmentalism in Italy to preserve biodiversity by comparing the different players in the sector and from October 2020 it is part of the IUCN, the World Union for the Conservation of Nature, which aims to strengthen dialogue on best practices for conserving the integrity and diversity of nature and, at the same time, of the environment. Today the Foundation has set itself new and more challenging objectives, and to pursue them it has decided to renew the Scientific Committee and its mission by focusing on personalities of great credibility from an institutional and scientific point of view and on the inclusion of young people of value who can bring an innovative point of view.
Each component of the Scientific Committee it will play a coordinating role on a particular project area that will be developed by the Foundation. All the new members will however look to the common goal of affirming the figure of the hunter as a "Paladin of the Territory", enhancing the contribution of the same to safeguarding biodiversity. The new Scientific Committee will be composed as follows:

In supporting this important change for UNA Foundation, President Maurice Zipponi he declared: “In recent years we have grown a lot and a step of this kind was due to give new life and competence to the Foundation's projects. For this reason we have decided to structure the composition of the Scientific Committee with primary level figures and different professional backgrounds, who can contribute synergistically with their different experiences to the achievement of the ambitious objectives that the Foundation intends to pursue, one above all that of being recognized as one of the first environmentalist realities on the national territory ". In taking office as President of the Scientific Committee, Renata Briano he added: “I accepted this position with great enthusiasm because I have been following the activities of the UNA Foundation for some time and I strongly believe in its initiatives, and in the importance of dialogue between the parties on urgent issues to be addressed such as those related to the protection of biodiversity. I am convinced that the UNA Board, also with the support of the renewed Scientific Committee, will be able to develop more incisive initiatives to protect the environment, stimulating the comparison between different stakeholders and guaranteeing the hunting world a central role in territorial management policies ". Another goal to consolidate UNA's growth will be to continue encourage dialogue not only with the political world and with that of national associations (hunting, agricultural, ecological), but also with the European one committed to protecting the environment and biodiversity.
